2008- Model G8 Youth Summit

Model G8 08The Model G8 Youth Summit is a simulation of the real G8 summit that wants to drwa attention to the visions, ideas and solutions of urgent problems of the young generation and to offer input for the G8 process. The Model G8 Youth Summit took part in March 2008 in Japan, several months before the rals summit. The participants from diffenrent international universities are chosen in national selections. The Politikfabrik arranged the selection of the german delegation in a nationwide announcement together with the DGAP and the Jean Monnet Centre for Excellence.

2007 - eu_checker

eu_checker was a multimedialogo-eu-checker-geschrabt2-cmyk.jpg travelproject to discover Romania and Bulgaria. A team of the Politikfabrik started this project under the patronage of foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in the summer of 2007. Equipped with smartphones, notebooks and cameras 18 young people went to the bulgarian captial Sofia to explore the new EU members Bulgaria and Romania.

2007 - Model G8 Youth Summit

model_g8_Logo.gifIn cooperation with the Mission Statement of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) a team of the politikfabrik organised a simulation of the G8 summit in the run-up of the meeting in Heiligendamm in June 2007. The team organised a conference for students from allover the world to discuss the main topics globalisation and world politics and find new fresh ideas for important problems. The Model G8 Youth Summit took place from 26th april to 2nd  may 2007  in the Hertie school of governance in Berlin.

2007- Potsdam Politics

ppIn 2007 the Politikfabrik organised a first test of the new ‘T-community’ a platform developed by the T-Com, before its presentation at the CeBit. A team of the Politikfabrik collected opinions of citizens of Potsdam and afterwards submitted them to local politicians for their reactions. Afterwards the data was collected and published on the community-platform. The aim of this project was to show a new possibility of communication between citizens, administration and politicians.

2006 - Wahl Gang Berlin

logo_wahlgang06.gifAt the elections for the mayor of Berlin on 09/17/06 young people of the age of 16 were allowed to vote for the first time and so able to actively take part in political process in Berlin. The Politikfabrik wanted to mobilise and speak to the about 200 000 first-time voters (age-group 1985-1990) and tehrefore started the Wahl Gang project once again.

2006 - Eurotrain 06

europazug_logo.gifBeing cooperationpartner the Politikfabrik gave advise and supported the MitOst e.V. and the DGAP in the planing and realisation of the press- and communicationwork for the Europazug /Eurotrain 2006. The train passed seven middel- and eastern european countries in seven days. It was a project of the MitOst e.V., the DGAP, the Robert-Bosch-Foundation and the European Commission.

2006- Merchandisingstudie für die BVG

bvgIn the end of 2006 the Politikfabrik made an analysis  of the merchandise potential of the public transportation service in Berlin. They analysed how other metropols worldwide advertise and sell their company products. Besides the offered products and the possible ways of shipping- and ordering goods were examined. The interpretation of these information made it possible to develop a conceptproposal for a BVG-merchandising campaign that speaks especially to young people by closer connecting the BVG to Berlin.

2005 - die WAHL GANG 05

Die Wahlgang 05 war die Jungwählermobilisierungskampagne zurlogo051.jpg Bundestagswahl 2005 Die WAHL GANG besuchte Schulen in ganz Deutschland, und brachte Schüler und Politiker zusammen – auch in der WAHL Lounge am Hackeschen Markt.5. Viele Erstwähler konnten so zum ersten Mal mit Politikern reden und sich erklären lassen, warum sie zur Wahl gehen sollten.Homepage: http://www.wahlgang05.de/

2005 - “Macht Beratung Politik”

In february 2005 the Politikfabrik hold a congress on policy consulting. Representatives of economy, politics, media, science and society discussed the topic “Power Consulting Politics”. Among the keynote-speakers and panel referents were EU-Commissioner Michaele Schreyer, Jobst Fiedler of the Hertie School Of Governance, Stephan J. Kramer of the Central Council of Jews in germany, Julia Niesert, controller of PR-work at the ARD-studios in Berlin and Prof. Dr. Eberhard Sandschneider of the FU Berlin. The highlight of the congress was the award of the Discorsi-prize by the German Institute of Public Affairs and the professional journal ‘politics&communication’.

2004 - Kongress “Politik als Marke”

The Politikfabrik hosted the first student organised congress on political communication in 2004. Experts on science, politics and media and members of political communication agencies hold panel discussions and speeches on the topic “politics as a brand-polictics between communication and staging” in Berlin. Among the speakers were Eberhard Diepgen, Silvana Koch-Mehrin, Giovanni di Lorenzo, Bernd Heusinger, Matthias Machnig, Michael Spreng, Hans-Christian Ströbele, Claus Strunz und Brigitte Zypries.
