2004 - Kongress “Politik als Marke”

The Politikfabrik hosted the first student organised congress on political communication in 2004. Experts on science, politics and media and members of political communication agencies hold panel discussions and speeches on the topic “politics as a brand-polictics between communication and staging” in Berlin. Among the speakers were Eberhard Diepgen, Silvana Koch-Mehrin, Giovanni di Lorenzo, Bernd Heusinger, Matthias Machnig, Michael Spreng, Hans-Christian Ströbele, Claus Strunz und Brigitte Zypries.

2003 - Flüsse verbinden

In 2003 the Politikfabrik participated in the project “Rivers unite european regions. The oppotunities provided by the EU enlargement” initiated by the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung. The staff of the Politikfabrik prepared dossiers for the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung about the general political and economical situation, environmental policy, consumer protection and culture of the easteuropean acceding countries.

2002 - Die Wahl-Gang/ Wahl-O-Mat

wahlgang 02The Politikfabrik gained attention prior to the election of the german parliament (Bundestag) in 2002 by organizing umpteen activities within a first-time voter campaign. Especially the nationwide broadcasted TV- and cinemaads of the “Wahl-Gang” were widely recognised. Under the patronage of TV-host Sandra Maischberger the Politikfabrik realised the project cooperating with the the Federal Agency for Civic Education. The “Wahl-O-Mat” homepage was adapted by several media, e.g. Spiegel Online and comedian Harald Schmidt and helped over 2 mio. people on their voting decision.
